RAK'em Up: Setting New Standards

Today I read a post by Miss Mediocre post called Dear Vanilla, I Miss You in which she laments the "good old days" when players were more civil, there was a spirit of community and we enjoyed playing WITH one another as much as we did AGAINST Arthas or a random boss. She got me thinking, and I have a challenge for anyone who wants to try and turn back the clock to friendlier times.

When Did You Become Aware?

In Faulkner's "The Barn Burning", Abner Snopes becomes aware at a certain point that his father's peculiar admiration of watching other people's buildings burn is.....different. This self-awareness leads him to make an important decision. Like Abner Snopes, each of us WoW players have experienced a similar type of epiphany at some point, and a critical decision.

He presents a comprehensive list of the ideas he debuted on his own site and offers compelling credentials to demonstrate his experience, and how that translates into great gold making ideas. At the end he issues a challenge of sorts to the blogging community: for each to decide for himself what his unique spin is, and to write from that perspective.

Earn 100 Gold Your First Day

Since I needed to roll a Horde toon to begin working the neutral AH, I decided to put to the test some of the tips I have seen (and used on occasion). My goal was to see if I could generate 100g on a brand new toon in my first day playing that character. The surprising results below.

Special Event Quests Make for Easy Gold

As Cataclysm approaches, many players are completing their last minute "to do" lists for their mains and high level alts--me included. Don't overlook your lower level toons and the great experience and gold they can earn.

New 4.0 Gold Opportunity for Lowbies
